The USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance invites applications for the position of Admission and Student Services Officer.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean of Admission and Student Service, this individual is a part of a team of three student services advisors. This individual will work closely with a dynamic team of staff and faculty in delivering a range of student services.
The Admission and Student Services Officer will play a central role in the recruitment, admission, and advisement of USC Kaufman BFA students. Additional responsibilities will include managing registration, course enrollment, and degree progress, taking a lead role in the cultivation of non-majors, overseeing admission and advisement of dance minors, providing support for the USC Kaufman Dancer Wellness Initiative, and overseeing community-building events.
Weekend and evening work, as well as some travel, is expected.
Candidates should have a strong interest in dance education. Experience working in the performing arts and/or within a university setting and a working knowledge of the needs and culture of dancers strongly preferred.
