Patron Services/Ticketing Manager

Manages and leads effective, efficient, and supportive patron services and ticketing operation.

Duties include:
  • Supports and works with Executive Director to identify, cultivate, recognize and retain patrons. Manages donor recognition tracking and fulfillment, pledge confirmations, gift tracking. 
  • Manages Customer Relations Management system (Salesforce) for both ticketing and donor records
  • Prepares and reviews daily, weekly and monthly contributed/ticket/tuition income reports.
  • Manages creation, update and analysis of sales, statistical trends and other reports to assist in planning and revenue enhancements.
  • Produces ticketing reports and projections
  • Assigns seating, prints and distributes tickets (NOTE: through June this is partially handled)
  • Oversees Will Call at concerts and events
  • Manages a full range of patron services
  • Oversees preparation and distribution of event information for ticketing and venue personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

The requirements below represent knowledge and skills required:
  • A minimum of three years related experience
  • Strong Salesforce background a requirement.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and software
  • Ticketmaster and Open Ticket (or comparable) experience is highly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, including extensive Excel capabilities
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Strong skills to de-escalate and ability to diplomatically and tactfully resolve difficult and sensitive situations.
  • Exceptional ethics, honesty, and integrity as well as complete respect for confidentiality, discretion, and the appropriateness of communications
  • Theatre ticketing, non-profit performing arts experience

Part-time (25-40 hours/week; increased June hours including evenings and weekends). Can consider 4 month or year-round engagement.
