Pittsburgh CLO is seeking seasonal staff members to assist with the company's 2018 Festival of New Musicals

The Artistic Assistant will:

  • Serve as liaison for NAMT members and Industry guests
  • Provide casting assistance (preparing sides, scheduling/monitoring auditions) to Production Department
  • Provide support for all Education/Audience Development initiatives, including New Musicals Bootcamp, Open Rehearsal Day, and all talkbacks and surveys
  • Prep script copies & welcome paperwork
  • Work with Stage Managers and Production Assistants to maintain master rehearsal & presentation scripts
  • General support for Festival Coordinator & Production Department
  • Assist VIP Industry Guest at rehearsals and events
  • Support Festival creative teams at auditions, orientation, and rehearsals
  • Other duties to support CLO Staff as assigned

Ideal Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an artistic or literary office
  • Working knowledge of New York and regional theaters, agents, producers
  • Dramaturgy or Directing Experience a plus
  • Excellent office/administrative skills
  • Excellent rehearsal room etiquette

Approximate Start Date: January 15, 2018
Approximate End Date: April 13, 2018 

Interviews will commence on November 27 and will continue until all positions are filled.
